I’m a writer and freelance journalist based in Orlando, Florida. I worked as a reporter and producer for Public News Service, a radio wire service, from 2016 to 2026, covering topics including the environment, labor, and state politics. My freelance work has appeared in The New Republic, The Appeal, Grist, Cannabis Wire, and Orlando Weekly. My article in the Orlando Weekly on christian rehab centers and their treatment of LGBTQ+ residents won first prize for LGBTQ+ coverage in the 2023 Association of Alternative Newsmedia awards.

In May 2025, I graduated from the University of Central Florida’s Master of Fine Arts program in Creative Writing. While in the program, I was part of the Florida Review as an associate editor. My book review of Diego Gerard Morrison’s Pages of Mourning appeared in The Masters Review in 2024. In September 2025, I traveled to Sicily for an artist residency.
